Another XM question...
 

So i searched and searched and found partial answers but nothing that answers my exact question. I have an 06 H3 Luxury addition with factory NAV and XM. I oulled out the factory NAV unit and install an Alpine INA-W910 with the SXV100 SiriusXM tuner. I was able to retain the factory G{S antenna no prob and it works great. So on to the XM antenna, I dropped the glove box and found the factory XM connector. I unhooked it and removed the plastichousing so it would plug into the new tuner. It plugged in fine but doesnt work. The weird part was the side of the factory wire that plugged in comes from the floor not the roof. The roof side doesnt plug in at all. I tested my set up with the aftermarket antenna so know it all works fine. the problem is def the factory antenna. Any suggestions?? thank you!

I'm not sure but I would think the antenna from the roof would have to be pluged in somewhere to get sat reception. Maybe I'm reading it wrong.
