After I had my alarm installed I pulled out onto the road and noticed it seemed to be leaning down. Got home and checked it out it was sloppy in the armgoing into the bracket on the door. I was so pissed I thought I might end up in jail over this. Long story short the stereo shop denied it.

It is driving me nuts because it is shaking and rattling and not sitting level. It still holds it's position. 2003 with 2003 mirrors.

I have looked all over the net trying to find an exploded view of the internals and just can't seem to find the pic I need.

Is there a nut on the bottom of the arm that you can tighten to firm up the arm? Or is it just a c-clip or press fit that holds the arm into the bracket on the door?
