air suspension compressor
 

Does any one know, or have a picture of the specs for the factory suspension compressor? Mine would appear to have give up on life.

The truck is now down on the bump stops. When started/doors closed, the compressor kicks in, but sounds like it's got a thrown rod. Tested the rear inflater port, it puts out VERY LITTLE air. Something like 2-3 psi probably.

So I'm pretty sure I need to replace the compressor. I have another (Viair IIRC) that I was going to use on another air ride project, that I can swap in, but don't know if it will meed the needs of this system. Any input, specs, pictures, disassembly/reassembly pictures, tutorials would be greatly appreciated!

I think it is possible to use aftermarket compressors to fix the OEM one, but I have NO experience doing so. I base that opinion only on the fact that they look to be of a similar size and shape. I personally don't know who the supplier is for GM.
