Air Suspension Bags

Soapy water test revealed small leak on left bag. I know I can do the spring conversion but I want to stay with the bags right now. Can anyone recommend an aftermarket brand or should I stay with OEM ?? Big price difference in some of the bags...

Never had an issue with mine so no experience with the various bags.

I've got to get both bags ordered. ANYBODY replaced with after market ??
Quite a bit difference in price between OEM and after market, but, if after market is junk I need to bite the bullet and get OEMs ordered.. ANYBODY ??

my old H2 had a air suspension issues right before i sold it. i remember the parts being way to expensive so i just left it alone. i wound up with a 08 tahoe LTZ with air ride. long and behold 2 of those shocks sprung a leak also and were crazy expensive. needless to say my current H2 does not have air suspension. moral of the story the air suspension on these trucks sucks its just a money pit. the air pumps are known to take dumps often also.

i run aftermarket shocks on my truck never the air suspension.

I recently replaced my bags for the second time (2003). there is a quality difference between the oe and the aftermarket. the material seems to be different (i ordered both from amazon and returned the aftermarket) also the aftermarket has a hose clamp style clamp around the bottom of the bag that when fully extended i.e. (offroading) can be stressed that causes it to seperate from the mount. I would recommend the oem in my opinion. they are about 165 each.

OEM is prolly better. My '04 had an original and a newer aftermarket unit; they were different lengths, causing the truck to have a permanent list to one side, and the OEM was pretty well dry-rotted. Just took em out and installed coils, would would have gone back OEM if I were keeping them.
