air suspension

Shortly after replacing my compressor on my rear air suspension, I have noticed that the vehicle sets lower in the rear than it did originally. Is there any height adjustments that can be made so the air suspension will raise the rear of my h2? It is a pain to have to hit theride height button everytime Istartit up to drive. There has to be a switch or sensor that monitors the height. thanks!

Its been awhile since I had my H2 but my compressor ran whenever I came to stop, started the truck etc and while moving up to about 20 mph. You could also push the button manually to turn on the compressor and raise the truck. Are you sure you hooked the new compressor up correctly?

on the rear lower control arms are where the hight sensors are. they may need to be recalibrated.

The compressor was replaced at the factory but it has since went out of warranty. Is this height sensor something that i can adjust or does it have to be done done at a dealership? Is it the sensor that I can see on the drivers side, rear wheel well, just in front of the tire on the frame. It looks to be something like a height sensor.

I would not mess with the rear air ride sensors as this will cause more problems. You need to go to a GM Dealer service dept and get them to re-flash your computer with the updated air ride program. Most of the problems with the rear air ride on the H2's is the software. Maybe someone on the forum knows someone at a GM dealer near you that can do this for you at no cost. Takes only 5 to 10 min to do, it should not cost much even if you had to pay the dealer to do this. :)
