How can you tell the H3 has the Adventure Package when purchasing a preowned H3?

 

There is a button to lock the differentials. I don't know if this goes back to 2006 though. There is no way to tell from the VIN number.

 

I purchased a 2008 with 285/75R15 Bridgestone Duelers and it has the front and rear locking diff buttons on the dash... ?

 

That would be the Adv. Pkg. equipment.

 

I stopped at the dealer where my 07 H3 was originally purchased. They took my VIN and printed out the GM factory build sheet liting everything that came on it from new. This includes all of the letter codes that GM uses.

I cant say for sure but the 1st clue to me were the original 285 size tires over the smaller 265's. The 285's were standard with the off road package. Or so I was told.

 

Did 08's have front lockers? I thought that was new to 09's.

 

can someone post a pic of the buttons just see. Lil confused. I doubt I have that package just want to see the diff? button locations and all.

 

Only the 09's have a front locker , all other years were for the rear diff only , also for 09 it has a cast iron locking diff compared to the aluminum front diff in the other years ..
If your still not sure take a magnet and try and stick it to the front pod , I bet it falls off

Those are the same buttons I have on my 08... but you're saying they don't have front lockers until the 09's?
