Mud flaps! This was just driving down here; wait till I hit the trails tomorrow. Got to admit though, I like it just as much being a bit dirty

I keep my mud flaps on while in the city, but I recommend taking them off if you go off roading. I have ripped off several sets of mudflaps on other vehicles by backing into high ledges. With how I have seen H3 mud flaps are attached, I am sure there will be plenty of carnage on this truck!

At every Hummer event I've been to there is always atleast one H3 that has had the mudflaps ripped off of the truck. Yes, they keep the truck clean but you should take them off before going off road.
Camou2 had them with the fender flares on his Alpha and when the mudflap came off it took the fender flare with it.
Just thought you would like to know.

Jeez, I’ve been thinking about buying the fender flares with the mudflaps but now maybe I should get the flares without them.

Trey thanks for that very good piece of information.

I've not got my front flaps hung up at all but the rear ones twice - and they are attached to the fender liner as well which will begin to rip out as well. My rears are coming off soon.

I had the mud flaps on until my first real trip offroad at Rausch Creek. I came home took them off threw them in the shed and then continued to bend back inside the front wheel wells where they attach. I liked them up until that point. On the positive side the damage was nothing you couldn't bend back with a piece of 2x4 and a hammer!
