My wife was driving her 05 h2 to work today . She was getting on the interstate and all of a sudden the truck just Locked up on her and would not go . She put it in park then in drive and it would not hardly go she had to put it to the floor to get out of the road .then she put it in reverse and the brake pedal would just start jumping . So we had it deliver home on a flat bed when I got home I hoped in it and put it in drive and reverse and it feels like the emergency brKe is on but it's not . Can anybody tell me what it might be ? Could it be the abs module is bad ?

 

are all the wheels locking up or just one of the rears? there is an issue with the parking brake shoe sometimes falling apart behind one of the rear brake rotors. I cant imagine it locking up the tires though.

 

Sounds like a brake booster to me.

 

I took it to the shop and the mechanic said it was the hydro booster was bad .
