3hummers is now 4hummers!
No pictures since the others that were posted. It is down at Tustin Hummer now. Mike S is replacing the heater core and a few other items on the truck. You can wander by and take a look if you are in the area. I am traveling quite a bit and won't pick it up from Tustin for another couple of weeks.
I did not take my camera when I went to look at the SB so I don't have pictures of Eric's other rides. He had a Hall race Hummer and his wagon there. He has an open top coming from Texas with a bunch of custom made goodies on it in earlt July and I think Phil is restoring a 2 door for him.
Haven't had a chance to think about the open top vs the 97 yet. I think I would like to sell it and get an open top either set up for off road or set one up for it. Truck wouldn't have to be all that nice. Probably be a couple of weeks before I consider what to do.
Tustin is just so convienent with the night drop off. My schedule would make it difficult to drop a truck off in Huntington unless he had after hours or weekend dropoff capability. I'll probably get there at some point.
Mike is pretty cool with some flexible hrs. I think he does most of his work on trucks at his shop after hours and on weekends. As far as my truck...he's putting 39.5's on 2 piece steelies w/beadlocks, front auburn locker, 2" duck body lift (cheaper than fabbing bumpstops for the bags), rock-ram, getting my high idle hooked up. I had more to do but will have to do later as work has dried up for the time being. Maybe I'll get it back next weekend? If I see your sb I'll pee on it (jealousy).
