what i mean of a leveling kit is a "drop kit" 1inch from the front and 3inch from the back

that's we were afraid of, rim size alone doesn't matter your need to look at the tire size (35 inch tires are 35 inches tall no matter what size rims they're made for) & specs on the rims ie offset & back spacing

you can fit a 26" rim but your tire walls would have to be extremely small and odds are those rims will get pretty beat up because they will be so close to the ground and there is no protection against curbs and such like there is with the stock wheel.

THIS IS THE PRICE FOR A SET OF 26 INCH CHROME RIMS ( 26X10 / 6X139.7 / +30 OFFSET )
WITH A SET OF TIRES YOUR CHOICE OF ( 255/30/26, 295/30/26 OR 305/30/26 ).

If you're dead set on getting the 26" rims, then you should go with whatever tire gives you the most sidewall.

Maybe you don't care but those large rims will affect your MPG, HP Loss, Braking compromised, throw off your odometer and your ride quality. A bad choice IMO.

I bought the last 2009 H3T out of inventory in the state so I could get the $3500 cash back incentive. The only catch was the dealer had replaced the 18" rims with 20" rims, but still 33" tires. I wanted them to put the 18's back on, but they had sold them so it was take it or leave it. They only charged me their cost on the rims/tires and below invoice for the truck, so I took it. However, I am thinking of selling the 20's and going back to 18's. The 20" rims look cool, but since I'm not going to go bigger than 33" tires, the 18's would give more sidewall and less worry about damaging the rims on rocks.

26" rims would make the Hummer worthless off-road and nothing but a pure BLING truck. It would validate the hateful things the GREEN wackos say about me!:o That would cause me to vomit every time I looked at it. OTOH that might help me loose those last XX pounds I've been trying to loose!:D
