RE: 22's on 2006 h3
I have 22's with 305/40/22 Kumho Exsta STX tires all around on my H3 and I actually wish I would have went with a bigger tire, I'm gonna level it and switch to a 325/50/22 Nitto Tera Grappler... there's just too much room with the 305/40's in the fender for my liking... but here's a few pics... Oh yeah, it only cost me $10 per wheel at a local tire shop to have the sensors moved from the stock wheels to the new ones.... They gave me free mount and balance but charged me $10 to "reseal" the sensor

SON.............i think it looks tight.....i think all you need to do is lower it to get the look you want but i think it is tight the way it is....what type of tire shop did you take it too.....

RE: 22's on 2006 h3
It was just a local mom and pop tire shop called City Tire. They gave me a pretty good deal on everything. I really can't see lowering a Hummer, and I hate having "car" tires on it as well. I think a Hummer should look like a Hummer, you know what I mean? But on the other hand I can't see going and spending 2 grand on tires when I have new tires on there right now, you know what I mean? But to each their own. The H3 that Ground Force uses in their ads look awesome though...

RE: 22's on 2006 h3
I have the Ground Force on my H2 and it REALLY doesn't take away from the HUMMER look, as long as you don't go 5 or 7 inch drop.
With my OEM tires in the Winter, I can still crawl over any snowbanks in the Mall parking lot!!!;) |
