22 inch wheels on H1
 

Hello,

i am new here and from europe. Maybe the community can help me. I want put some 9,5x22 wheels with offset 15 with Nitto trail grappler tires in 37x13,5x22 on my Hummer H1. Did somebody done this? Is there any problems? the car is from year 1999. I put for example a picture below but i dont know if the car was putting higher or original. Hope for some good answer. thank you

i purchased mine with 22's on it. i wasnt fond of this but the price was right. I am very cautious when it comes to rocks and boulders. I am just waiting until the tires wear out then i am going to switch to a set of original aluminum ones. If you plane on doing any type or moderate off roading, i would suggest against the large rims. I dont really like the way mine looks, but like i said, the price was right. the 37's are the original tire size so you wont have any clearence trouble there. but with the large wheel, you have a very small amount of sidewall on the tire. this will result in a rougher ride, more alignment issues(vehicles with large rims and low sidewall are more prone to being knocked out of alignment.) but if your truck is going to just be a street queen then you shouldnt have to worry much about these issues. good luck
