Have had my 07' for 7mos now, and decided to take it with me on my trip from Boston, Ma. area, down to Key West, FL. I have made this trip many times, in other vehicles, but wanted to make it in the hummer. I knew the gas would be the ONLY downside to the trip, but just about the same prices as two airplane tix. I usually drive 24hrs straight till the Ft. Lauderdale area, but my wife wanted breaks, so stopped in Savannah and Key Largo overnight. The trip has been GREAT, and now here for 5nights, then headed back. I am making sure to get oil changed, pre and post trip, as a little over 3k in a short span will do some work. I only saw a few H2's along the trip, but many H3's. Will add more when trip is done.

On long trips like that your oil will stay like new by the way.
I change the oil in the deuce about every 25k miles with a filter change in between.

Well, trip went great! All the way down to Key West, and back. Stopped in Savannah, and Key Largo going down, and some hole on the way back. Think I spent a total of $1100 in gas, which is about same as 2 round trip airplane tix... but Very comfortable and NO driving issues. I didn't get a pic next to bouy down there, but did get a pic near the Race Point lighthouse when I got back and took it to the Cape. I got the ORV (oversand) permit to ride on the dunes for this season, and was first time took it out. Cant upload pic though, too big.
