Anything can be done, just a matter of how much $$ you want to burn.

It is not a bolt in swap. The front steering geometry was changed in 2008 so that the Alpha could accommodate the LH8, you will need a new PCM and add a TCM into the harness, swap to the heavier Alpha T Bars, as well as replacing the exhaust, just for starters.

Mash motors charges appx $13,000 for the swap to a 6.0L, waste of cash. Put in a replacement I5, sell it, and buy an Alpha, you'd be miles ahead.

Now that a few others have figured out how to stuff a V8 in there (and made some build threads around the web), I totally agree about Mash Motors and going for an Alpha. Much cheaper and painless.

The least expensive route will be too rebuild what a got or replace with rebuilt / salvage.
