Default 2006 H3 Hummer with stock rims Oxidation or Stains / NOT CHROME

In Edmonton Alberta just the standard driving around ( salt and road way oils and dirt ) is it causing oxidation and your rims to be come ugly?
I have not seen a HUMMER h3 with stock rims in Edmonton AB with miles without this problem and you?
What was your service stations reply or for that matter GM's.

Dealership was insitant that I was the only person with this problem and that I should read what is covered in the warrenty book... I does say that materials or workmanship defects are covered... If the vehicle 51 G's and the rims were 6 months old and starting to see staining from 5 feet back, it a ________ issue to me. I asked for the up dated rims which are the 2007 chrome ones... i guess the design deptment noticed coustomers with concerns. But accourding to my deal I the only one bring up this issue. I did spot 3 hummers on the lot with my same rims, and you guessed it every one had the same problem. They said NO to every thing so far, just like the paint pealing off the raidio buttons they will warrenty some stuff on there discression. THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW, ( machined rims with sharp edges and a thin... thin layer of clear kote will start to show signs of oxiidation and staining ) But both GM and dealer give the same doulbe talk and BS I'm ready to take it to the next level !!! I will post picks : )

Sounds like BULLSH1T to me!!! These ******!!!! Let's see if any other H3'ers here have the same problem, then MAYBE there is something that can be done!!!

Good Luck, I'll try doing some research to see if I can find out anything more on this problem!!
