on my way to dealer today for a few other issues, i will inquire when I am there, thanks guys!!

 

looks like I may get lucky as my OEM mirrors are now acting crazy, the dealer is going to try and run them trough the extended warranty coverage and if so then they will be replaced with the new style ones, not the old ones, keeping my fingers crossed, if they replace them then these ones I will sell!

That would be COOL, then you can SELL the ones BACK on eBay and possibly recoup your $$$!!!

 

getting a bit of a run around from friggin GM, the Total plus extended warranty covers these, no problem, BUT I ahve a Select PLus, the GM USed Car Total PLus warranty which is suppose to cover everything and GM is saying the mirrors are considered "trim", not essential for use of the hummer and therefore not covered, of course I lost it on the warranty guy and then called my dealership where I bought the extended warranty, ($6,000) and now he is fighting the good fight for me and trying to get it covered, the friggin Saga continues.........

 

Especially since it's a KNOW DEFECT!!! Bring that up!!!!

I am fighting them now, they are actually being rude, can you believe they said and I quote " well it is a Hummer, of course it is expensive" Not being pleased now with them!

Gm says no to housing but the wiring and motor is covered, since it is all one unit, they are screwed! They have to cover it! I WIN!! and now watch them only want to do one side, turn in tomorrow for the GM Warranty Saga....
