2006 H2 Mirrors on a 2005 H2
 

Hey need some help here, hope you guys know, I have seen a lot of 03-05 H2s with the newer style side mirrors on them and I think they look great, I bought a set of 06 mirris off ebay and when I went to install them on my 05, I noticed the plugs are different, anyone else have this issue? if so how did you resolve as I notice the new mirror actually has more wires then the older one, it isn;t a straight cut over as far as I can see, ANY help would be grateful!

HMMM, I always thought they were Plug 'N Play???

I had mine done at the dealer(warranty), so I got NOTHING for ya!!

I thought so too but the connectors that plug into the switch on the door for power are different, at least on the ones i have they are, let me know if you come across anything, maybe the dealer won't rape me on doing the replacement

If you have the same number and colors of wires, you could just dyke off the plugs and solder 'em.

the wire counts are different, that is a bit of my issue, hoping someone else had this issue and was quick to solve it

I'm not sure.... so take this with a grain of salt... Are the trucks the same?

Lux has heated mirrors.... did the basemodel not?

now that is a good question, mine has heated mirrors, but the ones I bought on Ebay, I have no idea, that could be it! DAMN! that is no good! now that you mention it, the ones I bought from Ebay do not have the "heated" symbol on them

I read the listing again, here is what it says, you be the judges!!

Therefore I would assume they are heated too so I am back to the different connector situation. Anyone other ideas?

I installed the new style mirrors on my 03 and they just plugged right in. A very simple swap.

I don't get it, I took the inside of the passenger door off again today because I thought that I was going crazy, i double checked and again they are completely different, first of all the ones on my 05 are blue and black, the ones on the new mirrors are white and black, the sizes on the newer ones are a lot larger and differently shaped, somehow there is for sure something different, they will not fit, very confused now!
