2005 H2 Questions

Hello Group! I purchased a 2005 H2 SUV last week.....totally stoked on the vehicle so far. It drives better than my wife's Acura MDX and rides SO SMOOTH! I have come accross a couple things that I would like some input on:
[ul][*]My rear-view mirror has the compass and temp. built in to it. The compass works fine, but the temp display only reads "OC". I have calibrated the compass, but I'm assuming the temp. needs calibration? Any thoughts?[*]I have read a few articles on Hummer roof leaks. Is this a problem with a specific year, or just an all around Hummer problem? Can I do anything to prevent these potential leaks?[*]Does water ever leak in around the roof-mounted clearance lights?? That area seems vulnerable to me....[*]Any other problems or issues I need to look out for on a 2005 H2???[/ul]
Thanks!!
Leighton

Congrats on the new ride, I love my 05.

NO roof leak problems nor have I heard of any. while there is potential, good upkeep should keep any at bay.

I have not seen the "OC" on any of my GM products so I am not sure what that means.

I had an 05. If your side mirrors are all chrome on the outside they have recall on them. The motor will fail. They are switching out 05 mirrors for 06 style under a TSB.
Not sure wbout the "OC".
I have heard of a few roof leaks. Some had bad seals at the marker lights. A search shold bring these up.
I also had a problem with my ignition switch, I was getting a check engine light and then my key got stuck in the ignition. Another common problem with an easy fix, new ignition switch.
All in all, not very many problems with the Hummers!

I had an 05'...lost my ignition switch, and had roof leaks at the marker lights and sunroof......if you hear water swishing when you are driving down the road, you know you have a problem! Other than that it was a good truck....not sure about the OC on the display..mine used to display ICE but that was for icy conditions...

Thanks all for the replies! I am still worried about the roof leaking....I know it is silly to lose sleep over, but I picture my headliner stained and my roof rusting out :) As far as the "OC" thing on my rear view mirror: It stands for "open circuit" not "out calibration"! I found a broken wire on the sensor mounted inside the engine compartment....easy fix.
