I am going to try Rustoleum on my older rusted Black Side Bars... maybe I could bring them back to life!

Make sure you use a wire brush 1st to get rid of all the flakey CRAP!!

I would say so, I would hate to miss and spray some thing else, you need to be careful when you spray, at least that is what my wife says!

I had a friend in Texas that sand blasted a few things inadvertently. Added a lot of extra work.

i may be wrong but dont our trucks have rust and corrosion coverage for an extended period of time???

not sure about that, my OEM side rails were not covered.
