2002 H1 wont start...suggestions?
 

I have my first H1, which is a 2002 H1 recently purchased that I went to start today and find that it turns over but won't start up or even try to. When I turn the key on, the lift pump is working, and I slightly opened the vent on the fuel filter canister and I have fuel coming from there as well. The glow plugs are cycling as I can see the interior lights slightly dim as the "wait" light comes on.

It ran fine when I parked it a couple weeks ago inside the building where it is probably about 55 degrees.

I've read the PMD could cause this, but I don't know how to check the one I have.

Looks like we are right in the path of our first winter storm in several years, and it looks like I may have to sit this one out:confused:

3hummers can specify the differances between the PMD's but there are certain ones that either work or dont work...and there are some that start to go bad and can let you limp home. Is there gray smoke coming out of the exhaust when u are trying to start it? this will be an indication that fuel is entering the motor. but if iyou have nothing, then it really sounds like it might be the PMD to me. as for testing.......a $400 PMD with heat sink from SS diesel supply is your test tool.
