1st Time Hummer Owner

Always wanted a Hummer, and finally pulled the trigger! 2006 47k miles. I am a HUGE Charger fan and had to have the ability to go fast. When the opportunity came where the H3 could be the 2nd vehicle, I couldn't pass it up. Of course I attached pics.

Now, I am a TOTAL NOOB when it comes to Hummers and off roading so I am looking forward to learning from you guys.

1st question...I've been reading through the forums and I see there are different types of H3's (Alpha/Adventure). How do I know which one I own?

Leaving the dealership

Alpha is a V8 offered in 08-10
Adventure will have a rear locker in 06. Post a picture of your switches above the radio.
Luxury will have leather and chrome mirrors + door handles.

The leather you have is aftermarket. Ebony (black) and Cashmere (tan) are OEM.

Welcome to HF.

Have the rims been painted since you left the dealer? In the first picture they are chrome and in all others they are black.

They look to have the same pattern but are just a different color.

They are the same wheels. Plasti-dipped them the day after bringing it home.

Well based on your picture above, you DO NOT have an Adventure model.
(no rear locker switch)
