1994 won't restart when hot
 

I have a non turbo 1994 6.5 Deseil that starts great when cold and runs fine but if I turn it off when it is hot outside it won't restart until it cools off. I have heard others complain of the same thing and I've tried a number of suggested fixes but it still happens. With summer coming and being in a Wheelchair I need a cure.

Has anyone actually solved this problem? I get lots of well meaning suggestions but no cures.

I have a 94 and it would not start when hot. You can test this by getting the engine hot, then shut it down, then pour tap water over the fuel injector pump. Does it start? If so, it is the fuel injector pump and it needs to be rebuilt.
