Hello all, brand new here. I just bought an 08 SUT and am loving it. It has the factory bose but no nav. I was thinking about adding the OEM Nav unit as I can find alot of reasonably priced deals on eBay. They are all just for the "head unit" though. I know I will need a NAV disc. But will I need to buy an antenna too? Also, can I expect it to be plug and play? The only other thing I'm worried about is having a chevy symbol or something come up everytime I turn it on...is this a possibility?

A pioneer!

When I bought my H2 it was the same setup, I just went out and got the AVID D3, then bought the adapter for the steering wheel controls and bluetooth. I like it, plus it has inputs and outputs to run my rear tv. What ever is playing in the back I can watch up front and vise-versa. But of course I'm not really an OEM type of guy.

 

The only other thing I'm worried about is having a symbol or something come up every time I turn it on...is this a possibility?
