07 transfer case fill

My vin number is 5GTDN13EX78201456. I was wondering if I have the issue with the transfer case filling procedure? The X in my vin is throwing me when I compare it to the vin range I have seen online.

Thanks

This is the only info I have tagged for the T-case fluid VIN #s:

ONLY for 2006 and very early 2007 with a vin prior to 5GTDN13E778100102.

Your VIN is past the 100102 so it look like you fill to the normal service level.

I would agree, also you could measure how much you drain out and then based on your mileage you should have a good idea on how much to put back into the transfer case.

after the quickie lube guys pulled the fill plugs to check the condition of fluids during the last oil change I had to add the 8oz again. I found that filling to the fill port as normal on level ground and then backing the rear of the Hummer up on an incline or curb that I could add the extra fluid through the fill port without having to pull the speed sensor. I also used a paint pen and wrote a nasty-gram by the fill port so they "might" have better sense than to pull the plug again.
