07 H3 Headlight Problem

I have an '07 H3 that has developed the following headlight problem. It occurs whether I have the headlight switch on auto or use it manually to turn the lights on.

On 'dim', my driver's side headlight burns. If I push the wiper stick to brighten the headlights, the driver's side light goes out and the passenger side comes on.

I have replaced both bulbs, checked the relays and fuses under the hood. All is working and operable.

Is this most definitely a multi-purpose switch issue (wiper stick) or a headlight switch or is there something that has come up over time that would explain this?

I've even read that the Body Control Module might cause this.

Thanks in advance to anyone with insight who's willing to share.

I should add, a shop has checked both headlight grounds and both are good.

IF the bulbs are really good, tested outside the vehicle, then it appears that only the grounds can do this.
the hi filaments, and the lo filaments, are tied together in the harness.
It would seem very coincidental that one hi was open,AND one lo was open.
If its not the bulbs then it almost must be the wiring harness. It really is very unusual.
The fuses and relays must be good since you have each side ,and hi/lo working part way.
THE BCM gets a signal from the "wiper stick" to dim/hi the lights.
My wiring data shows the daytime running relay wired in a strange way, feeding 12 v direct to the right light, and thru the 2 hdlt fuses to the left.
I figure you have a very simple connection problem,(but hard to find!)

OH, by the way, each light has a fuse, left and right, right?,AND just for fun I would pull the drl fuse. I cant see any reason why this should change anything. If it does,,,??

I'd personally remove each ground and clean thoroughly and reconnect and smear di electric grease over the connection after all tightened down again.
