Very first set of new rims for our 05 H2. 17x9 definitely look wider than the original. Will see how it looks in a few days. Still need a few more tires. Pretty cheap well under 200 per wheel.

yeah how did you do that? Frame looks freshly powder coated.

 

Thank you. Took a very long time to de rust and clean it. Well worth it. I’m in Florida and the truck no longer sees snow or ice or salt.

 

update:
rears are done. Had to use 2” lug nuts. Friday 2 more new tires arriving for the front so should be done by then.

 

didn’t powder coat it. Just cleaned as much rust as possible and painted it. That took a while as I did that in my driveway.
but I will get to powder coat the frame one day when I’m ready to swap the engine and of course have some $$ for all this work. Also need work under the cab there are rust spots and some bolts are so bad they have disintegrated.

 

finally a fresh set of shoes for this old truck. Ride is extremely smooth.
