Red face Why can't search engines be case sensitive?

Or, better yet, be made to look for 3 digit words.

For example, You're looking for information on Daytime Running Lights, but the search engine won't work for "DRL". Or, "VIN", etc.

It makes it that much harder to avoid, being criticized for not doing a search, on forums. And, you know who you are. ;-)

Well, I did find an answer.

Obviously, search engines don't like 3-character 'word' searches. Again, I think they should upgrade their software to allow a 3-character, if ALL CAPs. I.e. PCM, BCM STP, TPS, you name it.

Anyway, if you use quotations marks, it tricks the software into looking for the 3-character word anyway.

Give a try.
