Default New Addidtion to the Family! *56K Stay AWAY!*

I have been wanting to get rid of my wife's 2000 Jeep Cherokee for some time now. Last night, we went car shopping and came home with this;

A New 2007 Dodge Charger R/T with the Hemi. It's pretty quick for a stocker and rides great. It's nice to have something in the family with some horsepower again! The color is Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl.

IK: You are going the CTS route also huh? I keep telling people that is going to be our next car. HummerMike was nice enough to get us a new '07 loaner this week while our H3 was in the shop. The same with the '06, we love it. That car is so surprising. It looks sharp, it handles great, it's fast and is VERY comfortable. The only complaint I have is the autostick doesn't up-shift fast enough, but it's still better then having it in Auto mode.

Uh, yeah way off-topic.

Jeremy, that is SWEET!!! As with IK, our next car is either going to be yours or the CTS. We haven't driven the Charger yet, but are going to try to find one to rent in a few weeks when/if we go to Nick's B-day bash.

Have you ever driven a CTS? If so, how does it compare? I'm kinda curious to know.

doesn't compare Mike, your talking about a "quick" 6 cylinder in the cts to an all out muscle car hemi in the charger. Both are very comfortable an surprisingly smooth riding, but the hemi will flat out blow your wifes wig off if you stand on it.

I liked the charger...eif your looking for handling go with the charger....a ton ofaftermarket parts available so you cna dial the handling to where you want it...cts you pretty much got what you got....we are going with the cts just cause my wife wants more luxery than speed.

My buddy has the same Charger, only the slate blue grey? color. I'm lovin the BLACK. I know those things will snap yer neck back when ya crank it!!!!! Charger is a great ride, for a Chrysler. Ha, had to. If I was in the car market, It would be on the short list.

Mike's dealer is supposed to be getting in the new CTS-V sometime this year that is going to have AWD and a supercharged 300HP engine. That's what they've been told. I know they had a '06 or '07 but I don't believe those were AWD were they?

So you actually get a CTS-V as a loaner? How much better is that one compared to the normal CTS? Do you notice a difference?
