I'm old, but I wasn't around then............

My uncle fought in the Pacific, he wasn't there on D Day either.

 

Old is just a number my friend.
Thanks to your uncle.
Many of my uncles were in Germany as the Germans round the boys up 15 or older to work in the war factories.
I was born after the war and have seen the build up from WWII.
Every week we were reminded in school how wrong that war was.
Been to Normandy and visit each of the beaches.
As a few other battlefield areas in Europe.
