I have a 2005 h2 and the cable that let's the rear seat down broke. I bought what I thought was the replacement part and it came in today, but the cable housing is to long, and the cable itself is to short. This is the driver side rear seat and the cable closest to the door. Not the one that let's down the head rest, the one that let's down the back portion of the seat when lifting the bottom portion of the seat. Can anyone give me a website link to the part
or tell me that specific part number? Any help would be amazing!!! Thank you!

It wouldn't take too long to do a google search and click on the first GM parts supplier to see a diagram.

 

that was my plan of action. Obviously that did not work because the diagram I found and used the part number off of was the wrong part. I would like to think I have some sort of knowledge when looking up and ordering parts lol. But this experience showed me I do not know as much as I believe I do lol. So I was hoping someone else had this same problem and can easily point me in the right direction.

 

This site has been pretty accurate for me for looking parts up. There are a few revisions to the H2 models though so you just have to look close to be sure you are looking at the right seat. The parts for the 2008/2009 models are very different than the parts for the earlier models. You can usually tell by looking close at the diagrams though to be sure you are looking at the parts for the one you need.
