Welcome to HF.

I got no idea, I am an H3 guy and hate all known forms of nerf bars.

But I do have rock rails.

Not that I'm aware. I believe all H2 specific running boards/steps attach to the rock rails which then attach to the frame rails. Most running boards attach to the sheet metal body which is not the case on the H2s.

Okay, well what I am finding out is that MY 2007 H2 DOES NOT have any rock rails or (rocker protector) and I have also found out that not all H2's were factory equipped with them... from what I was to understand it made more of a difference if you were going to "off road" with the vehicle. In any event, I have found that the N-fab nerf steps get bolted to the pinch seam and that Rocky Road Outfitters sells Hummer rockrails that attach to the frame also... both WITHOUT the need for that rocker protector piece that is factory installed.

IF any of you experts out there have any suggestions or can help me figure out which is the best for my vehicle without spending a grand or more that would be great and much appreciated!

Hey, thanks for the heads up and love the "inlandempire" ones.... but they are in California, the cost to ship across the US to East Coast would be as much as, if not more than they cost... sadly
