Default "Caps" by the hood

I am wanting to replace the after market lights that the previous owner put on, what i call caps that are beside the hood. I see nothing holding them in-place and they feel like if i pulled on them hard enough, they would pop off but I don't want to try that until someone tells me that's the way to do it. Thanks! Any advise will be greatly appreciated!

Yep, open the hood and pull straight up. Make sure you don't smack the hood with your breather or your fingers. That smarts too!

If you break any of the 4 fasteners per side you can find them easily on eBay or Amazon.

Warmer the weather the easier it is to remove them without breaking a retainer.
