New Member introduction
Hello, This is such a great web site. I have been coming here for years to look at some of the posts regarding HUMMERS.
Honestly, I never signed up because I have really not had ANY issues with my 2007 Hummer H2, until now. (well other than someone tagging the side of it and an ex boyfriend putting 5 lbs of sugar in the gas tank 4 years ago.) With that said I've had it painted twice and had a new fuel injection system put in early July in 2007. Not under warranty (yikes).
I have had the truck for 10 years I LOVE IT. after the lease was up I decided to buy it cause they didnt make them anymore and wanted to keep it.
I bought it with 3 miles amd managed to put about 170,000 miles on it. No problems besides having to go to the gas station everyday ive had it. Lol .
Well thats my introduction. My name is Lisa by the way and I live in sunny Southern California.

Surprised:
New to the forum; son wanted me to buy a jeep to go on a Alaska trip with him. After shopping decided I didn't want a jeep, some how ended up with a 2010 H3. Traded in a car I didn't need planning on using this Huummeerr on the road trip and ditching it. HEY, I love this gas guzzler. Been researching possibly replacing the I5 with a L92 backed with a 6L80, and probably higher gearing. Make it mine instead of some cracked out gm engineers wet dream.

Second Hummer
Hi! Happy to join! I've had a 2005 H3 and now a 2009 H3. I leased the 2005 because I have a really difficult gravel driveway with a severe left switchback turn that leads to a 10 degree grade that is about 75' till garage. House is carved into a steep hillside. I have to get up no matter how bad the snow/ice is as I am wife's caregiver.
Loved it so much that I bought the 2009 slightly used (about 2K), and still have the same driveway! This one is fully loaded with interior options so comfy for wife when I have to get her to/from med appts.
Now over 90K and never had a problem that I had to pay for except for normal maintenance. Got hit with the throttle body malfunction, but Chevy dealer was great.
Hoping with care/maintenance will last till MY wheels fall off!
Ron in CT about 1,000 feet above sea level.
