Default New H3 Alpha owner

Just purchased a 2009 H3 Alpha with 89K miles for my winter everyday driver. Hope to gain knowledge and "been there done that" insight.

Default Plans for new to me H3 Alpha

Have leveled the front to 23-23.25, installed a set of Bilstien 5100's on the front, 4600 on the rear, new extended bump stops on the front and a set of Toyo AT III's 295/75 are on order. Got ride of the chrome door handles, mirrors next and the front grill will be removed and replaced/painted black. Front brush guard with wench after the Christmas rush is over and roof mount bars to start. Looking into a OBD II reader and ipad mini to get an oil pressure readout or a programmer. There us more but this will get me through January. .

Welcome to HF.

Keep it stock, throw some good winter traction tires on it, change ALL the fluids and drive it.

Bilstien shocks ride like a dump truck, blacked out chrome is played out, it is spelled WINCH not wench!

"Murdered Out".................. wasn't a good idea when it was popular IMHO. 10 years before that, people went through the "White Out" phase too.... nothin like aluminum wheels painted white.

Anyways, congrats and welcome OlyMtHiker!

#1 thing to do is to change the crappy azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors to a quality aftermarket set like Stingers or your favorite brand. No joke, do it.
