H2 exterior plastic trim and chrome mirror covers.

Hey guys!! First off I'm new on here and I have an 06 hummer h2 and was just wondering if any one has taken the exterior plastic trim around the bottom and around the wheel wells...if so do you have pictures? And when you took it off does the body contour continue the same or is it noticeable when the trim is removed... And one other thing the chrome inserts on the front side of my exterior mirrors I want them black and was wondering if anyone has popped off just the chrome pieces or if you have to take them apart from the inside to get the chrome piece out.... Thank you guys hope to hear some feedback

All the flares come off very easily. I know mine when I took them off had rub marks so leaving them off wasn't an option. You can't really leave them off since they bridge the gap between the wheel wells and the body.

As for the mirrors I'm pretty sure I remember reading you have to take the mirror out to gain access to the inside of the housing to remove that chrome piece. It would be easier to just mask it off and paint it.

Okay awesome thanks I appreciate your reply! One last thing how you said the plastic bridges a gap my goal was to line-x where the plastic was would that be enough to bridge the gap or is it too big of a gap for line-x
