Default H2 4inch lift kit tyres!??

Hi all I have just put a lift kit on my h2 and the tyres I have at the moment are 35x12.5r22 but I want to go bigger without the going wider as I only have 0.5 inches to play with in width. Any advice, it’s driving me nuts!

You would need to push the wheels outwards with more offset/backspace with either spacers (not recommended) or new wheels wit a greater backspace than the stock wheels.

Default Spacers

What are the concerns with the spacers? I’m really looking like going down this route?

They're just not as safe as actual wheels with a larger offset. The theory of spacers wearing out components is a discussion for another time. Some claim it doesn't matter as spacers do the same thing a wheel with a large backspace/offset does while others will argue spacers will wear stuff out faster.

IF you do go with spacers you need to MAKE SURE they are both lug centric and hub centric. There is a lip on the H2's hubs where a lot of load is taken which is why hub centric are always safer than just a universal spacers with a large hole in the center. I have 1.5" hub/lug centric spacers on my 2016 Canyon which is lifted with larger tires and I've never had any issues. However, H2's are a hell of a lot heavier than a Canyon with tires 3 times the size. Some people have ran spacers on their rigs without issue. I dabbled in the thought for a long time before saying the hell with it and ordering wheels with the backspacing I wanted.
