06' H3 with about 50k miles. seem to have ghost electrical problems. after shutdown, radio and alarm will come on after a while. door or key buzzer also. this drains the battery after a while and of course it won,t start. I thought it was the bcm acting up but also read about the battery terminals. I dont want to spend the money for a bcm if it,s something easy and cheaper. I would appreciate some help from someone who might have had similiar problems. Thank,s.. amt50

 

well start with the battery terminals, I would vote that its the BCM, however the battery terminals could be a $10 upgrade... go to an auto parts store and buy some good quality terminals... cut your stockers off, strip them down to the wire and clamp, reconnect and you'll find out...

well I found out the radio can be a problem also. turns on whenever it want,s to. I disconnected the radio and no battery drain after a couple of days. starts normal. but I stil have no interior lights coming on when you open the doors and the power mirriors dont work. It has to be the bcm. Everything seems to go through that unit. anybody else want to chime back in here!

 

BCM= Body Control Module
Functions including but not limited to: all electrical bod components, lights, mirrors, radio, dash, windows, etc, etc... Lol

Not much more to add past that... It's the brain of the interior workings of the H3, or any modern vehicle for that matter...
