Default Can't make the payments on your H2 * I need an H2.

Nice to be part of this forum! So I am looking to creatively aquire an H2 Hummer. I'm willing to take over your payments and I need a truck to drive. I am not a scammer, I'm a Gunsmith (retired mech. Engineer (38 years) in CT and my credit sucks ***. Covid really messed me up financially, I got laid off right in the middle of Covid. Can this work? Do you guys have any other ideas for creative financing? I'm looking forward to this thread. Don't be mean, I don't need that ****. Thanks. Pete

I think this will be a tough nut to crack, first, I can't think of any bank that will loan money on an H2, their just too old. On top of that you would be required to have full coverage insurance which won't be cheap.

Next, if you are thinking you might just be able to take over someone's H2 loan, again, the bank would likely require you to re-finance, again another issue if your credit is in question. Finally even if you make it to the finish line with this idea older H2's can be expensive to own and newer one's with low mileage demand premium prices. Add to that some H2 parts are not cheap and hard to come by.

For most of us here our H2's are not daily drivers. Not to rain on your parade but your task will not be an easy one. If I might be so bold, you might want to consider a 4wd Truck or even a Jeep Wrangler.

Best of luck to you on your hunt!

I do not think anybody with a vehicle older than 15 years is financing anything. If it was financed, it would be a high interest loan made from a used car lot like "buy here, pay here."

Good luck.

I didn't mention bank financing. I'm looking for another way to finance. Outside of the box thinking.... 👍🏻

You admittedly have bad credit, but think some private out of the box entity/person is willing to finance you purchase?

Are moderators supposed to comment in threads. Are you going to stomp
your feet like a child and say I can't talk to a moderator like that? 🤣
Keep your ridiculing comments to yourself, jerk. Can't you read? 🙄

Wow, you sure have a lot to say for a moderator. And don't try to make this my fault,
you're the one that posted the 'eye roll emoji'. You just couldn't help
yourself, had to comment the rolled eyes emoji on my post when nothing i said was against forum policy.
'Eye rolling typically infers annoyance, disbelief, contempt, or
exasperation, signaling disrespect or a dismissal of someone's ideas,
often indicating a breakdown in communication where someone feels
unheard or that the other person is being unreasonable or stupid, and it's a
destructive nonverbal behavior in relationships.'
You couldn't help yourself knock me down a peg. Don't you think I need
a little help rather than a snide eye roll?
