Hey buddy. I haven't actually received a response yet from anyone. I have the Y91 premium set up, so i can't use one of those simple harnesses that taps in at the headunit (like PAC or something) to give me the aux out otherwise i would have gone that route. I will need to actually splice into the wiring near to the subwoofer under the console, i just haven't got round to doing it yet. I am probably more interested to remove the head unit and swap it for aftermarket, and go the whole hog and replace the factory system but it's not high up on my priorities. I've heard mixed views on tapping into rear speaker wires for the line out, saying i wont get the full signal etc, but noone has given me a clear alternative.

Hello! I have a 2005 H2 and was wondering which wires you had tapped into when you hooked up your AMP/SUB ? I was reading the thread where you were doing this but it stopped before you had said what you actually did... Thanks...
