I followed other users instructions from this forum - basically removed it, sanded it, cleaned it then sprayed multiple coats of truck bed liner i got from autozone - all said it was fairly easy. the hard part was getting enough coats on until i felt happy. it's held up very well. don't expect a super consistant finish...this stuff is textured. go for multiple wet coats (if you spray too far away it won't stick properly). it's easy to remove and the paint is fairly cheap so don't feel bad about redoing it several times.

Educate me on how you "blacked" your grille. I assume it was an original "chromed" ABS plastic. I want to do something similar to mine, but having trouble finding anyone who is trustworthy or has the knowledge to do a good job.
