DNR - Silver Lake State Park Information READ THIS FOR THE RULES of the DUNES.

The addres you posted is for the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Area chamber of commerce, in Hart MI, east of 31.
The dune area west of Mears MI, west of 31 and uses a Mears mailing address. Besides off roading, there are tons of
things to do, and beautiful west MI sandy beaches with pleanty of state, county and city parks for access.

Hopefully since this may be a weekend dealy, we can get some out-of-towners to make the hike as well.

I did Silver Lake when I was at The Hummer Club Homecoming event back in 2006 and it was absolutely awesome. If any ofthe forum memberscan get there it will definately be worthwhile and a greatoff road trip.
