Spare Tire Position help

Hey everyone,

Can someone show me where there spare tire hoist mounts to under the truck? I feel like my truck is possibly missing a bracket that attaches to the frame(?). I've had my 285 bridgestone in the truck bed ever since I purchased it. Would love to get it out of there and under the truck if possible.

There is a plate connecting the 2 frame rails right above where the spare tire would sit. The "hoist" slips in on one end GREEN in figure #2
Then you tip it up and secure with a bolt in the bolt hole GREEN in figure #1 make sure the locator pin RED in figure #1 is in the hole that helps locate the hoist.

If you do not have the hoist one from a Silverado "may" fit. Not 100%.

I think my truck is missing the plate you speak of. All I have is an empty space. The plate may have rusted off (or i'm looking wrong)

Does this look like it's missing something? I don't know where exactly to mount the spare tire hoist. is wherever I supposed to mount it still there?

That's the slot the hoist fits into. The plastic for the "wind tube" fits over the slotted end in photo # 2 of my previous post
