Default Hood Air vents

My hood vents are fading. Thoughts?

Do you like the chrome covers or is it worth it to take them off and paint them?

Do you know where to get specific paint if I want to do that?

Thanks,
Mike

Depending on the color of your rig some have removed the air vents and bed lined them with good results.

Thanks for the info. So, a stupid question. How do I remove these things? The truck is black, so I think this option may work. Just so I know we are talking about the same things and that I am not using the wrong term, these are the two corner pieces (plastic of some type) up by the windshield, right? I can't attach a photo, sorry.
If so would you suggest a spray type bed liner product?

I appreciate your time and being so active on this site!!

They remove quite easily.
Pop the hood.
Pull up on the vent(make sure you don't hit the hood with the vent).
Done.
Press them back on once painted it coated.

Really it's that simple.

Why would you use that stuff on the air vents on both sides of the windshield? Maybe you are think about of somewhere else you used that stuff. Surely not on the vents.
