Default H3T Exhaust

Hi All,

I am new to this forum, and this is my first post. I am sure this subject has been discussed, but I have not seen any definitive answers on it. Is there ANY bolt-in performance exhaust for an I5 H3T? The only one I have been able to find ANY part numbers for is for Magnaflow Part No. 16591. It does not have any availability shown on their website, and when I called, they told me there is no set date for start of production. That is the extent of information available! Are there any bolt-in parts available, like whole/partial systems, mufflers, cat's, etc. Thanks.

Dan

I know this is not what you are looking for but I use to have the muffler shop slide a flange over the pipe and flare it, this way I could bolt up any aftermarket muffler I like.

Thanks for your response. Although it may not be exactly what I was thinking of, it seems to be the only one. There must not be such a beast available fot these trucks as there are quite a few folks that looked at my post, but only one response. Guess I'll have to piece a system together. Thanks again!

C J's Muffler & Brake

2103 W Pioneer Pkwy # 325, Pantego, TX 76013-6047 (817) 860-1887 ()

This shop can do the custom work for you, just be specific on what material you want him to use and that you want it built as a bolt-up assembly.

I don't have a T, I have just had some basic exhaust work done there on my vette and witnessed some of the custom work he does. Regular 3" exhaust pipe costs about $5 per foot, whereas 3" Stainless runs you closer to $20 per foot. He does NOT stock stainless, so expect to give him a few days to order it. Let us know how this guy works out for you.

p.S. My material prices are just ball park, be sure to get an actual quote (material and labor) before beginning work.

i own a 2009 h3t alpha i just received the magnaflow 3 inch cat back system for the regular h3 alpha . i dont use that location for spare tire so besides a small custom piece of pipe it looks like it will go rite in . im also cutting cats out and keeping both 02 sensors just tricking second one. i just hated the look of the one for the h3t single output. ive had this truck four years and have wanted an exhaust since day one. this is a big week.
