Default 09 h3t alpha issue can't figure out.

So I have a h3t and when I'm driving it feels like another person out if no where grabs the wheel and pulls hard to one direct. Usually to the right I think it's something with the driver wheel. And then it stops. Any ideas?

MOVED this for you as Sights and Sounds has nothing to do with Tech questions.

Welcome to HF.

Need more info, like miles on the truck, any recent work done etc.... Could be a brake drag, bad tie rod, loose steering rack, broken alignment cam.....

150k miles and only thing I've done since I just got it is I raised the front end to 23.5 in from 19in with the keys.

Did you get an alignment after the T Bar adjustment? If not, we just found your problem and do so ASAP before your front tires are toast.

its going in for an allignment this afternoon but would that seriously cause it to occasionally pull that hard like someone else jerked the wheel kind of deal? Also much thanks for the advice. Just waited a couple days to let it all set un place before I did an allignment

Yes and YES! W/o the alignment you have the front tires going different directions (Toe and Camber are out of spec). When driving you are scrubbing a tire that is not pointed in the correct direction (Toe). When you turn slightly, hit a bump, encounter changes in road surface, road crown changes etc... all of a sudden the tire being scrubbed grabs and takes you that direction until the dominant tire (the one that is less out of whack) takes over again.

But it's odd I got the allignment and it still did it this morning on the way to work. And they had the allignment in all green and everything but driving and felt it jerk hard like I fell into a rutt kinda deal where I had to very firmly over correct it and then didn't wanna listen then it finally did and felt normal again?

Alignments are only as good as the guy that performed it. Check your height again, novice lazy techs cheat on alignments all the time.

Have you checked for slop in the steering rack? Check you wheel bearings too.

Yeah the steering is pretty solid. And is it possible to have a silent wheel bearing going out to where it makes no noises then it does what it is doing then corrects its self back out and drives perfectly again.

One more question.... the 23.5" level, just making sure that is from fender lip to hub center?
