Yesterday I was driving in some of the worst mid April conditions imaginable. There was sleet, ice pellets, freezing rain, 60mph winds and roads covered in slush. I was entering the highway when the passenger wiper stopped and almost got tangled up in the drivers wiper. Drove home on the one wiper. Diagnosed a faulty wiper linkage. Picked up an AC Delco 10389559 linkage today. GM part number is the same. Ripped apart the cowl being very careful not to break any tabs and took out the wiper assembly. Removed the motor from the old one and installed it on the new one. Someting wong! The long arm has one of the white bushings installed the wrong way. After careful investigation it's not me who screwed up. Factory screwed up or is there another part number for early 2006 H3's? Help! I'm driving around with the old wiper linkage and the cowl off. It's going to snow again tomorrow!

 

Finally got a hold of another linkage assembly. Took long enough considering there is a GM warehouse 15minutes away. It appears me first piece was assembled wrong. SMH.
