Default What's an X ?

When I signed up for insurance a few months ago, the agent asked if my H3 was an "X". I don't see anything that shows it is an X. It is an alpha with nav and leather and a spare cover.

I think the agent's intention was to make sure a claim wouldn't be refused because the wrong model was insured.

So how does one know if they have an H3-X?

'What upgrades differentiate the H3x from the regular H3? The H3x starts out Luxury package equipped, and adds chrome tube steps, chrome appearance package and chrome fuel door. A body-color grille replaces the chrome unit, making the new chrome brush guard stand out more prominently.
The H3x also gets a body-color spare tire cover with a unique chrome embellishment featuring a HUMMER appliqué, plus an exclusive wheel, center cap and tire package.

On the inside, added to the luxury package components, embroidered headrests add a touch of exclusivity."

This is the main thing you will notice although some people remove it.

Also special wheels and more chrome stuff.

From the factory, a body colored grill with a square material brushguard, 18" tires, spare tire cover with the chrome band across the passenger side of it. There may be some stitching on the headrests also. If I forgot anything, please chime in.

Mine will require a good wash before photos. But it looks just like that copper colored one except it is black. That said, who, in their right mind, would buy a black car when they live on a dirt road?

maybe i cook too much

Shouldn't your agent be able to tell if its an X by the vin number? So you should be covered by it that way for insurance. All I know is that I love my H3 and will be looking to get an H3T as well as keeping what I have. Teenagers get our old cars so the driveway is starting to look like a used car lot.lol Belt welcome to the club and tell that's why they have car washes.

I hope there are still some Ts in good shape one of these days when the prices drop a little bit. I would love to have one but people may just end up keeping them since they aren't making them anymore.
