what psi to run in 35s
#11
I ran 32 psi in the 285/70-16 Duratracs on our old truck. They were an upgrade from the factory 265 Wranglers and they did ride a bit harsher than stock.
The 285's were much heavier tires and also load range E instead of D. My guess is that new HD shocks would have helped a bit.

Well finally got to check my tyre pressure the other day and it was set at 45psi cold
Dropped it down to 35psi and it was riding a lot better straight away, drove the H3 for about 100km of highway use today and rechecked pressure and it was up to 40psi hot. Parked the H3 up for the night and will check pressure in the morning, should be back to 35 hopefully.
I think I will drop it to 32 cold and see how it goes.
Now on another question, do people drop pressure when they go offroading??
If yes how much??
