i just got mine a week ago and installed it. i have to tell you, it required a bit of arm strength and patience. be sure to loosen up the front bolts on the powertrain shield, so it slides back a little, allowing the bolt holes to line up. because if you dont, the front armor shield will not seem to fit. as in my case, the bolts did not go back in easily as they seemed to have to bend slightly to put them back in. but it will go together with a little force.
the shields do hang a bit lower and it appears that you lose an inch or two of ground clearance but thats how it was designed.....
other than that, i think they couldve done a better job in the design and you will see that as you slide the front armor between the cross-member and the powertrain shield...

I just received my set of GM UCP today. Quick delivery for me. I'll be documenting the install and will post it up if no one else does. Getting excited about those Hunner shock/spring sliders now...

I have an order in for the skids but it may be awhile this time. I increased the order to save time in the future since they seem to be really busy. I will keep you posted.

I did the install today and took pictures. You are right about the tight fit. I put them on at took them off a couple of time to see where the issue was. It turns out that the smaller rear UCP is the issue. The rear "L" bracket is straight, but the cross member has a small bulge where the upward bend occurs. I found that if you leave these bolts out and loosely install the rest of both racks, you can thread all of the bolts by hand. Then with upward pressure (floor jack was helpful), push the rear in place and everything lines right up. I will post some pictures asap.
