Looks good. Why did you decide to go with the tuff country over the rancho kit? How does it ride?

Thank you.

I went with the TuffCountry over the Rancho because it was substantially cheaper, and I was told it was identical.

Unfortunately, it is not identical. The Rancho kit utilizes torsion bar relocation brackets so your torsion bars stay tucked up into the underbody of the truck.

The Tuff Country does not use these, so my torsion bars are now at angle (lower in the front by approximately 4 inches).

The thing is, is that they are no lower than my front driveshaft, so I'm not sure there is any sense in relocating the torsion bars, because if I were to hit something, I would want the blow to be distributed amongst both torsion bars and the driveshaft, versus the driveshaft taking the full blow (as would happen if I had the Rancho relocation brackets.

It handles much better than it did when it was leveled with 35's on the stock wheels.

I think this is because of the lower offset wheels (wider stance), wider tires, and stiffer shocks.

Very nice. It looks like my H3 except I have the 35"BFG KM2 tires.

Looks Amazing, great job. Which kit did you put on. I have been looking in to the rancho, but haven't totally decided.

Awesome looking h3, love the contrast of white and black. i am thinking about doing this to mine, i was just wondering how much did all that cost you? the lift kit, tires, rims, install?
